Eligibility to Join Pak Army as a Soldier:

Eligibility: Male citizens of Pakistan, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan, whether married or unattached.

Requirements: Soldier General Duty Trade, Soldier Technical Trade, Soldier Military Police Trade, Soldier Driver, Soldier Clerk, Soldier Cook, and Sanitary Worker

Age:

  • For all candidates: 17½ years to 23 years
  • For Sanitary Workers: 17½ years to 35 years

Educational Qualifications:

  • Soldier General Duty / Soldier Driver / Soldier Military Police:
    • Matriculation (10th grade) or equivalent.
    • The minimal qualifying grade is Middle (8th grade) for candidates from Balochistan, the merged districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and the offspring of martyrs.
  • Soldier Technical Trade:
    • A minimum of a C grade in science at the matriculation level.
    • Those who possess a superior education will be prioritized.
  • Clerk:
    • A minimum of a C grade in Intermediate (12th grade) is required.
    • The minimum requirement for candidates from Balochistan, the merged districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit Baltistan is an Intermediate grade with a D.
    • Candidates with a computer diploma and a higher education will be given preference.
  • Cook:
    • Minimum: Middle school (8th grade).
    • Candidates who possess culinary expertise will be prioritized.
  • Sanitary Worker: Illiterate (maximum education Primary).

  • Clerk / Cook:
