Education Requirement:

General Instructions:

  • No candidate shall be permitted to receive a reduction in height, chest circumference, or age.
  • Candidates are obligated to furnish precise information. The dissemination of fraudulent information is subject to a penalty of imprisonment for a term not exceeding seven years, in accordance with sections 420, 468, and 471 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
  • Applicants are required to submit an affidavit affirming that they have not engaged in any criminal cases or activities. In the occurrence of a fraudulent affidavit, the applicant shall be barred from pursuing future applications for law enforcement positions, and legal proceedings will be initiated accordingly.
  • A transgender individual may submit an application based on his or her self-perceived gender identity, in conformance with the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2018, and the gender listed on the CNIC.
  • Government employees who meet the eligibility criteria are permitted to submit their applications through the designated channels.
  • At the time of the interview, candidates applying based on a familial claim are required to furnish comprehensive documentation to substantiate their claim, including but not limited to a pension book, retirement order, and similar documents.
  • The character and academic qualifications of the chosen candidates will be subjected to verification. In the occurrence of fraudulent or misleading information, or the presence of a criminal record, the selection process will be promptly retracted or annulled. The candidate will be terminated from service if such information is uncovered subsequent to employment, and legal proceedings will be initiated against the individual.
  • The ICT Police website offers information pertaining to examination venues. The ICT Police possesses the sole authority to appoint a center for a candidate.
  • Candidates participating in the endurance test are encouraged to don joggers or similarly suitable footwear and to bring their own water container.
  • Only those candidates who satisfy the physical and endurance criteria and successfully complete the written examination will be contacted for an interview.
  • Candidates who successfully complete a test or stage are deemed eligible for the subsequent test or stage. A candidate who does not successfully complete any stage or assessment will be disqualified from progressing to the subsequent phase or stage.
  • The Departmental Recruitment Board (DRB) and its personnel will assess the physical standards of candidates during the interview process. Should any deficiencies be identified, the candidates will be disqualified from the ICT Police recruitment process, and appropriate legal measures will be instituted against them. The determination rendered by the DRB shall be conclusive.
  • At the time of final selection, candidates will undergo a thorough medical examination conducted by the medical board or civil surgeon of the Federal Government. Candidates whose vision is less than 6/6 will be disqualified during the medical assessment. Furthermore, candidates diagnosed with Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, or any other chronic illness will be deemed ineligible.
