Bahrain Airport Services Careers:
Bahrain International Airport is operated by Bahrain Airport Services (BAS). BAS has been successful in the effective management of Bahrain International Airport’s four business divisions, the provision of world-class services, the management of airline functions, and the administration of the airport since 1977.
About Bahrain Airport:
BAS was founded at a period when Bahrain International Airport required an independent ground handling services agent. The late Yousuf Al Shirawi, Minister of Development and Industry at the time, received the approval of his Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister, for a proposal.
BAS was established from ASGUL (Aircraft Services Gulf Limited), which is owned by Gulf Aviation. Gulf Air and six travel agencies—Kanoo Travel, World Travel, Jalal Travel, Dilmun Travel, Al Qusaibi Travel, and Bahrain International Travel—formed an alliance to construct it. BAS has achieved a well-established strategic position in the operations of Bahrain International Airport, the first airport in the GCC region, after all these years.
