  • Qualification: MBBS (minimum 2nd Division) + 1-year house job recognized by PMDC/PMC

3. Medical Branch (Dental Surgeon) (SPSSC)

  • Rank: Flight Lieutenant
  • Age: 23-28 years (as of 25 April 2025)
  • Qualification: BDS (minimum 2nd Division) + 1-year house job recognized by PMDC/PMC
  • Training Period: 24 weeks

  • Initial Tests: Intelligence and academic tests in relevant subjects.
  • Physical Fitness Test:
    • 1 Mile run in 8 minutes
    • 15 push-ups, 20 sit-ups, and 3 chin-ups (each within 2 minutes)
  • Medical Examination & Interviews: Conducted at PAF Information & Selection Centers (I&S Centers) and later at Air Headquarters (AHQ).

  1. How do I join PAF as a doctor?

    To be eligible, you must hold an FCPS, BDS, or MBBS degree and have at least one year’s experience in house jobs recognized by the Pakistan Medical Dental Council. The PAF offers two types of commissions: General Duty Medical Officers (GDMOs) and Specialists.
